Runner Training

Get ready to run! Get all of my run training programs including 5K, 10K and half marathon distances. Each plan incorporates three days a week of prescribed running, two days of strength and conditioning and two flex days for rest, active rest, yoga or whatever else you might be feeling.

    My weekly programs are full-body centric strength training which offer numerous benefits for individuals of all ages and fitness levels.     Toning and building lean muscle mass creates an after-burn effect burning more calories for hours after your workout compared steady-state cardio workouts.

    Regular strength training is associated with a decreased risk of chronic diseases while promoting overall health and longevity and enhancing quality of life.

    Strength training releases endorphins, known as "feel-good" hormones, which can reduce stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression. It can also improve sleep quality and overall self-confidence.

    My Runner training is focused on building strength to improving running performance, endurance, speed, and overall fitness. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner, my programs will help you achieve and maintain peak performance.

    Strength Training

    Runner specific strength training targets the lower body (e.g., squats, lunges) as well as core and upper body strength to help improve overall strength, stability, and prevent injury.

    Flexibility & Mobility

    Stretching and mobility exercises can improve flexibility, range of motion, and running mechanics. Dynamic stretches before running and static stretches after running can help prevent muscle imbalances and reduce the risk of injuries.

    Rest & Recovery

    Adequate rest and recovery are crucial for optimal performance and injury prevention. Restorative practices like yoga or foam rolling can aid in recovery and relaxation.

    This is the best all-around program I have developed in my 15 years as a fitness professional.
